As we approach the end of October we want to gear up for some exciting events in November, as well as a great opportunity to get involved in a political campaign on Halloween.
October 31, 2009: Virginia Governor’s Race Campaign Invasion with Young Democrats of Maryland. Join other young democrats from Maryland and Virginia in campaign efforts for the Governor’s race in VA. Click here for info.
November 3, 2009: Our regularly “first tuesday of the month” meeting is being re-scheduled to November 4.
November 4, 2009. 6:30p-8:45pm: Viewing of Michael Moore’s Documentary on health care reform in the USA, SiCKO. Admission is FREE, and the event will be held at the Perryville public library. RSVP on Facebook!
November 5, 2009. 6:30p-8:30p: Cecil County Democrats Club. VFW, North East, MD. Congressman Frank Kratovil may be speaking on health care reform and the current session in congress(pending the close of session as scheduled)
November 18, 2009: Stand Up: for kids in need, a stand-up comedy show to support the Kid’s Defense Team. Come out as the Cecil County Young Democrats host a benefit comedy show at the Drunk Monkey in Elkton. RSVP on Facebook!
